Pray for Your Leaders

I am in control, and I call you to prayer, to intercession.

Ask for healing for this country and its problems, knowing that I am the answer.

I raise up and tear down.

I answer and solve,

probably in ways you can’t imagine.

Just like the debridement of a wound does NOT seem like a step to healing (but only a step towards further injury), things are not always as they seem.

Pray.

I can use anyone actually.

My people have failed to believed that.

They have swallowed the lie, given into the fear of the enemy, and failed to pray for their leaders.

Instead they just waited until they could get new leaders.

Trusting in leadership- that’s what that shows.

NO LEADER can turn this around.

Pray that I will.

Depend upon Me, and I will bring change.

It is people who are in the need of change,

needing a revival of heart,

to know what they need and really want,

and I am the only One who can change hearts.

Pray.

Instructions from 1 Timothy 2:1-6:

“First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority (a high position), so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper time.”

Rather than obeying these instructions from God, we have for the most part in our own reasoning as if we know better, just hunkered down and waited things out until we can elect new leaders. But this clearly shows an incorrectly placed trust.

He alone is our Savior.

Now may we place our focus and hope and TRUST Where and in Whom it has always belonged.

And Pray

For our leaders and for our ‘people’.

He opens hearts, and minds too. Acts 16:14, Luke 24:45

I have not fully set up this new site yet, but there is a subscribe field at the top or bottom of the screen depending on what type of device you are using. It looks like you may have found it (and may have gotten a generic default response). Love and miss you, traci
