To Know Him and His Word

“I have restrained my feet from every evil way,
That I may keep Your word.
I have not turned aside from Your ordinances,
For You Yourself have taught me.
How sweet are Your words to my taste!
Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
From Your precepts I get understanding;
Therefore I hate every false way.

Your Word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.
I have sworn and I will confirm it,
That I will keep Your righteous ordinances.
I am exceedingly afflicted;
Revive me, O Lord, according to Your word.”
Psalm 119:101-107

From the Father’s heart for you today:

Rest, in knowing Me and My Word.

It is a lamp unto your feet, showing you where you truly currently stand.

And it is a light unto your path, showing you the next step and then the next and the next to walk in.

Be there.

In My Word.

Mix it with faith (Heb. 4:2).*

And find LIFE.

Follow Me (Luke 9:59).

I restore your soul and I will guide you in paths of righteousness for My Name’s sake (Ps. 23:3), paths where there is fullness of JOY (Ps. 16:11) and hope and peace.

My heart is zealous and jealous (Ex. 34:14, James 4:5) for My people in LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.. and for confidence in Me.

May My people find their confidence in Me and no other thing,

not searching for it in any other thing, person, or in any permission given by man.

My divine power has granted to you all you need for life and godliness (2 Pet. 1:3) through true personal knowledge of Me.

Know Me and My Word.

Come. Draw near (Heb. 4:16, 10:22, James 4:8).

In My Presence is fullness of joy.

And I will make you know the path of life (Ps. 16:11).

“… do you not know that your friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore would desire after mature consideration to be a friend of the world is [thereby] constituted an enemy of God. Or, do you think that the scripture says in an empty manner and to no purpose, The Spirit [Holy Spirit] who has been caused to make His permanent home in us has a passionate desire [to control us] to the point of envy [of any control indwelling sin may have over us]? Moreover, He [the Holy Spirit] gives greater grace. For this reason [in conformity with this] He [the Holy Spirit] says, God sets himself in battle array against the arrogant and haughty but gives grace to the humble and lowly. Be subject with implicit obedience to God at once and once for all. Stand immovable against the onset of the devil and he will flee from you. Draw heart to God and He will draw near to you.” James 4:4b-8a Wuest’s Expanded Translation of the NT

*  “..but the message they heard did not benefit them because it was not mixed with faith (the leaning of the entire personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) by those who heard it.” Hebrews 4:2 Amplified Version
