Take This Opportunity

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13

From the Father’s Heart for you today:

There is so much death and destruction and hurt. So many people are crying out, “Why, why, why?”

They don’t ask, “God, why have You forsaken us?” because many no longer believe that I’m relevant. But they do want to know why. And they are experiencing a hurt that only I can fill.

And I want to fill.

So take this opportunity (Col. 4:5,6) to love them. Just hold them. Meet them in that place. With the love and peace you have been given (2 Cor. 1:3,4,5), manifest My Presence in their midst. There is a grace on My people (if they themselves will not give into the fear) to be an aroma (2 Cor. 2:14,15,16) of My life and hope in this time of need.

This is an open door.

Believe Me, believe My Word, believe what I say and not what your natural eyes see (2 Cor. 5:7). Don’t see the outward opposition (1 Thess. 2:2, 2 Tim. 2:25) and the offense. Instead see with your spiritual eyes of understanding. And take courage. Take it. And abound in hope for those around you in My power.

“…in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,” 1 Peter 3:15 NIV
