Today is your turn again. (Your turn on the 1’s).
“Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Just as it is written, ‘For Your sake we are being put to death all day long; we were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.’ But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:35-39
Many know this truth but are currently experiencing a death of some kind: the death of a dream, relationship, job, etc.
And it is causing a ‘feeling’ of being separated from the love of God.
Life in this world is just hard. So today take those cares to Him. Whether it’s a burden you are carrying or someone you know, hand it over to the One Who can do all things. Trust ‘it’ with the One Who is so much bigger than the problem and is ABLE to handle it.
Ask Him to give you His perspective. Ask Him for His truth. Again (like this assignment) pour out your heart and hear His perspective, His truth, maybe even your assignment in the midst of this situation.
And write it down so you don’t forget it.
Blessings to you all.
“There is only one ultimate guarantee. It is the love of Christ. The love of Christ. Nothing in heaven or earth or hell can separate us from that, and because God is love and loves us He will not allow us to rest anywhere but in that Love.” Elisabeth Elliot
