“On the day I called, you made me bold with strength in my soul.” Psalm 138:3
May you be encouraged today in BOLD confidence to run past any FEAR and go do God-sized tasks.
Today.
Don’t wait for the day when you feel fully equipped.
You will forever have that excuse, that fear, that hesitation, and all the feelings of inadequacy, until you step out in faith and find Him faithful to do in and through you all that He has promised.
“When God does a miracle, you believe Him for bigger and better miracles the next time. That’s how you steward miracles—you up the ante. You keep leapfrogging by faith until one day you look back and can hardly believe how far you’ve come with God’s help.” Mark Batterson, Chase the Lion, p. 97
Believe the truth of God’s word that tells us clearly that it is in our weakness that He is strong (2 Corinthians 12:9, 10) and that we have been granted everything we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3).
Our weakness is never to be used as an excuse, no matter how real it feels or how LOUD it roars and complains against the assignment of God. It is rather to be boasted in, that the glory of God may shine through our lives.
Step out in faith on the waters of obedience.
Step out and walk in bold confidence in Him Who is able to do exceedingly beyond all that you can ask or imagine, through you! (Ephesians 3:20)
“By definition a God-sized dream is bigger than you are. You don’t have the time, talent, or treasure to pull it off. Without divine intervention it’s destined to fail.” ….p. 95
–What God-sized task is before you today? Take a step of faith today.
-What God-sized dream do you currently have on your heart? Write about it and ask God for more vision.
–Be in the Word today and do what He says. What truth did He highlight and call you to? It is those who hear and act upon the word that build their house upon the rock and can withstand the storm (Luke 6:46-49).
Step out in faith in Him. Trust Him.
“.. for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me! So for the sake of Christ, I am well pleased and take pleasure in infirmities, insults, hardships, persecutions, perplexities and distresses; for when I am weak [in human strength], then am I [truly] strong (able, powerful in divine strength).” 2 Corinthians 12:9, 10 Amplified Bible
